This was me until recently. I’m going back to work soon and was terrified since I have a long commute (don’t want to fall asleep at the wheel..). We finally decided to try sleep training (this is our 3rd) and it took over a week to really work, but it did and I haven’t had to get out of bed during the night, or before 6am in a few weeks. It’s incredible. I was totally against sleep training before, so if you’re considering it, I definitely recommend looking into it.
And why do they always do it when I have to be up early? If my alarm doesn’t have to be set, he’s the best sleeper and other nights I sit thinking, I can get 4 hours if he goes to sleep right now.
Idk what’s up with my little guy. he’s awake every hour on the hour this week. I’m so excited it’s Friday bc it’s my husband’s turn. I just need some goddamn sleep.
That was last night. He slept in two hour chunks, so obviously I slept less.
The funny thing is I always expect the nights to be hard, and then I get through them fine. It’s the next day that is painful. My whole body hurts. My focus is off. I just dont feel like myself at all, and hate everything.
That was me last night…just drifting off to sleep and the wailing starts. Until 1 am when I gave go and just put him in bed with me which I NEVER do. Then the fucking cats gotta get in on the crying.
Mine goes to sleep okay but *always* wakes up once at night. And I can’t nap. I haven’t had more than 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep at a time in 9 months.
I’m feeling this right now.
Lastnight my 8 month old screamed until 1:30am when I had to get up for work at 6. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I got adequate sleep other nights, but I don’t. I was so tired and frustrated I cried along with him.

Yep. Mine has a baby disco for hours in the early morning hours. Uhhhh teething sucks.
Ugh. So not looking forward to those sleepless nights again once baby number two arrives in May 😩
My 11 month old just got the hang of sleeping through the night MOST nights and it’s been so lovely.
Hits right in the feels. They just know.

Holy crap, thanks for the awards!
I.feel.this.so.much.

When you guys have nights like this what do you do? Just try to nap during the day whilst the baby is sleeping?
I mean how else can you survive?

Toddler sleeps great. I have until May to enjoy it when #2 arrives. But of course restless leg is waking me up constantly ☠️☠️☠️
I swear they’re doing it on purpose!
I feel this. My youngest (9 months) is in the middle of a god awful sleep regression, I’m on day 5 of running on 3 non consecutive hours of sleep.

This was my toddler last night.
Something calming knowing I’m not alone in this. I I’m teaching from home and fell asleep in my computer chair ten minutes before class started.
I have 4 (1,3,6&7)
Generally, one picks a night to stay up and party all night so I feel this all too well
God I feel that in my bones. He’s starting to sleep longer stretches but also is trying to go to sleep later and later. It was after 2am last night.
Getting ready for kid #2’s arrival. Yup! Hahahha
Straight up called into work… This is the 3rd night in a row she wouldn’t go to sleep until 4 am… I’m dead tired.
