EVERY👏🏼SEASON👏🏼SERVES👏🏼 A👏🏼PURPOSE👏🏼 Repost from @daniellehartruns

5 Years Down & a Lifetime to Go! That’s the thing about running; as long as time permits, it will always be there for me. There is no timeframe, no right or wrong; you’re here to live your life and feel good about it. Trust the timing of your life.

Running has led me to do the most amazing things in life:
Just 5 years ago, my journey began when I ran my first 5K race. Little did I know what that race did for me; it set my journey to flight. The things I have accomplished from running pregnant twice up to the day my water broke for each, to scoring a BQ on my first marathon, to listening to my body through it all, being the best motherly example, all the way to giving my body the love it needs.

No matter what the journey looks to you, make sure you are living and finding a way to be happy. I have learned so much this year and I can honestly say I am better for it. The journey never ends; you may have to change directions but ALWAYS KEEP GOING.

Note to self: This is YOUR journey, your body, your mindset; dig deep, own it and start doing things for you and by you. Not everyone will understand and that is OK.
BUT at the end of the day, don’t trade your authenticity for approval.

Life is too short. Just continue to do what makes you happy because at the end of the day everyone deserves happiness and a life they love. I have always believed that everything happens for a reason. Find joy in your journey that you are actually living.

The first thing you should know about me is that I’m not you. Another woman’s success is not the absence of your own.
It’s your journey, your story, your life. If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down👏🏼🖤

  1. This is so unhealthy it’s not even funny…this is so dangerous for the baby, placenta, and mom. The placenta could literally rip off her uterus from the harsh movement and cause preterm labor…Why would anyone promote this?

  2. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

  3. When you are healthy and were already regularly running and get the ok from your doctor it is ok to run. There’s so many studies showing that running while you’re pregnant does no harm to the baby and actually causes less complications. Healthy pregnant women can do more than we think🙌

  4. I get women seeing this as a negative and making them feel like crap. I see it as she did her best to keep herself fit and some women can do it👏. Others like me were a little chunky before and got the stomach kangaroo pouch😒 I’d even prefer my old round belly but all well. Before my now 2nd pregnancy I was working out trying to get rid of the pouch and here I am prego again.🤦‍♀️ (But thankful because it took us 6 1/2 years). This pregnancy has been so much harder than the 1st😳 swollen after just taking a shower or any little thing🤦‍♀️ but I’ll pop him out and try to get back in shape again👍 probably won’t ever get the flat stomach unless I get skin removal but I’ll be healthy and that’s what matters. Let other women be their best and you be the best you.👍

  5. Most doctors will tell you that it’s completely fine to continue doing physical activity that you’re already conditioned to doing. As long as it isnt causing you any pain or discomfort. They wouldnt recommended a woman who doesn’t run to decide to do a marathon at 39 weeks. I know women who lift weights and do crossfit while they were pregnant with no problem. I on the other hand am not able lol I can barely walk a mile at 31 weeks. So kudos to those who can run!!🔥

  6. What most women don’t understand is that this woman was fit BEFORE she was pregnant. Starting exercising after you become pregnant is not safe unless you’ve been doing it before you become pregnant. This is also the reason why you see so many fit women who get pregnant and have no stretch marks and have such small bellies. They have developed muscles that makes them carry inward instead of outward.

  7. Wow absolutely incredible and truly beautifully written. All pregnant Mommas are superheroes no matter what they decide to do it’s the fact that they are creating and nurturing life👏👏👏👏
