OK, let’s be clear from the start – Formula Milk Is Not Bad!

Motherhood is a pathway full of challenges and obstacles, full of decisions that make hurt or may not please to everyone.

The way you feed your baby will be judged anyway at some point, no matter the way you are doing!

We will always advocate for the moms who want to breastfeed.

We will always turn around and look behind every option to support moms who are struggling with breastfeeding.

We will always spread loudly the benefits of breastfeeding to who want to hear me.

But what we will never do, is to make feel less valuable the mother who chose to bottle feed her baby, or the one who didn’t have enough support and end up giving formula even if it was not her first intention or to the mother who couldn’t do it because whatever reason.

🍼  Bottle feeding is an option, is a luxury to have that option.
👍🏼  It’s not bad, and don’t make you better or worse mum.

Did you feel judged for the way that you are feeding your baby? (Bottle, pumping or breastfeeding)?

  1. Thankfully no one has ever really questioned my feeding choices. I decided long before my son was born he would be formula fed- breast feeding just isn’t something that feels right for me. He’s a healthy, happy 18 month old and I’m happy too! It’s really no one’s business how we feed our babies and no mother should be made to feel bad about it

  2. I formula fed my first and will do the same with my second whether or not I can breastfeed because that’s what I’m used to. No shame. Our first is amazing. No doubt our second will thrive. Formula does cost money but is no luxury. Many pediatricians will give it away if you need it.

  3. This by far is the least of my favorite posts. It is so hard to breastfeed. It is not the easiest choice. How about complementing the women who chose to go that route? No need to feel ashamed or guilty if someone chose to use formula. Part of wanting to be a good example tobmy son as a human being is to not judge but equally important is to teach him that it is okay to recognize the good in others and cheer up others in their achievements. 💕💕💕 buckets of love to all the mommas outthere!!!

  4. I chose not to breast feed because I did not want to🤷🏽‍♀️ pregnant again and I still don’t want to so I won’t, I don’t care one bit what anyone thinks or says about it!

  5. Nope! I didn’t produce and I don’t care what anyone says! My son is 3… healthy, smart and strong

  6. This is horrible, Synthetic milk is not milk but an artificial imitation of natural milk with a high degree of adulteration to increase the volume of milk and thereby the profit. Studies have found infants in developed countries who consume formula are at increased risk for acute otitis media, gastroenteritis, severe lower respiratory tract infections, atopic dermatitis, asthma, obesity, type 1 and 2 diabetes, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), eczema, BREASTMILK IS ALWAYS THE BEST MILK

  7. I couldn’t able to produce more milk and my little one used to cry after every half an hour of feed for milk and I was left with no option of giving formulas cuz I think baby should be healthy and filled no matter from which source you are providing. Got so many criticism from family members of not giving breastfeed but I have stopped thinking about all that as I know what’s good for my baby.

  8. I worked on producing milk supply in my last month of pregnancy and form the moment I gave birth and so I was blessed enough to have milk and continue to make milk in abundandce but I know if I wasn’t able to do so and had to use formula I would because baby has to eat. I would also however research the best brand (which I did just in case) and found many European brands that were very good and didn’t horrible ingredients in them because I’m sorry similac and …I forgot the other brand make me want to cringe reading the ingredients.
