I love love love the Wiggles, but even having been a mom for almost 4 years, I haven’t lost my deep sense of existential dread. If anything, having my recent second born has greatly exacerbated it.
In the newborn days my husband was travelling for work up to Scotland. I’d always worry about dying in my sleep after he left for a 6 hours drive and then both our children (1.5y and newborn) would be left in their rooms all day with no one.
It kept me awake many nights, sick with worry. I’m a lot better now. Plus he said he’d be worried if I hadn’t text him by around 8am as I always say good morning.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.
Under a shady tree, you and me.

When it was the newborn days:
“What if I’m so tired I just die? What if I just went outside and laid in the road? But then who would take care of the baby?” *cries*
“We travel near and we travel farrr” 🎶
My daughter enjoys both Christmas and singing. Her favorite for the last TWO MONTHS has been “Jingle Bells”. Here are her lyrics:
Jingle Bells
Jingle Bells
JINGLE BELLS
JINGLE BELLS
JINGLE BELLS
JINGLE BELLS
JINGLE BELLS
I feel this in my soul. Except its his toys that sing, those songs are in my head!
I put on School House Rock for my kids once and they weren’t really fans. But I got the noun song stuck in my head for the next week!
“Oopples and Banonos”
“O is for Oscar… P is for pooooodleee”
Anyone seen their rendition of Ride A Cock Horse on YouTube? I’m an American and never heard that song before but dang.
Elmo had four ducks *quack quack quack quack*
That or any of the tunes from Hey Bear Baby Sensory
I miss the wiggles. So much easier than YouTube and needing internet. My son is learning so much though.
I see dancing fruits and vegetables every time I try to close my eyes thanks to Hey Bear.
I get the songs THAT I MAKE UP stuck in my own head. 😓
I’m loving all of these! Very much been aficionados of all of these previously!
My daughter has learnt about the Lion Sleeps Tonight and is now demanding of that at all hours…awimbaweh awimbaweh…
My 7mo LO is teething. I got about 3 hours of real sleep last night. This is too true.
“Place your order if you’re lucky. We make food in our foodie truck-y. YEAAAHHH.”
“My ears are soft, my ears are blue, I love my ears, how about you?”
– the toy I made the terrible choice of getting our infant for Christmas
I spend way too much time singing wiggles to myself, especially at night! Do the pretzel is pretty good tho tbh
Last night was the first time my baby ever slept through the night and I couldn’t sleep because I was waiting for her to wake up 🙇🏻♀️
The wiggles have to do the good drugs right, I would need really good drugs and their money to bounce that much while smiling.
Serious question: who is your favorite wiggle?
My fiance and i have decided (after much, much deliberation) that Anthony is the best wiggle, but Captain Feathersword is our favorite character.
Gee c’mon!!!
Do the propeller, do the propeller, do the propeller around and around…
Moana… make way, make way… the village of Motu Nui is all you need…
‘De de de de de, BLUES CLUES’
Whenever there’s a problem, around adventure bayy…
🤣🤣 in our house it’s a mix of Daniel Tiger or Rock-a-bye your bear.
This hits home. I think I’ll have some rosey tea and a fruit salad to cope with it!
I felt this in my very soul…
