This is the reason I gave up. I take shifts with my husband and mom at night, but having to stay up the extra 30min at midnight and get up at 5am to pump before my 6 year old got up just killed me. 🙁
Sometimes (actually a lot) I just fall asleep on the couch with my pumps already booked up and I just turn the machine on each time I wake up (auto turns off at 30 mins). I never sleep longer than 4 hours so it works for me lmao
Ah yes! I do this daily 😂it doesn’t affect my supply much thank god as I’m usually an over supplier! Takes a few days for my supply to dip after doing this multiple times then about two days to get it back up! Props to the mommas who have to pump every three hours on the dot or their supply tanks! I couldn’t do it 😪
I remember the 1st time. Lol. I woke up at like 5:30, made sure the baby was still breathing, pumped, & went back to sleep for an hr. I felt like i could run a marathon or solve world peace that day. 😂
Don’t know how far along with exclusively pumping you are, but I’m 3 months postpartum and can now go about 8 hours at night without pumping. I think my body just adjusted. It was such a relief!! Props to all the moms out there who exclusively pump – it’s hard!

I gave up pumping at night and now pump before bed and when I get up. So far no issues and still have an over supply

Damn I’m impressed. I can barely handle 4 hours cuz it hurts so much
