Why Can’t I Get Pregnant? Learn What You Can Do to Discover the Answer and Get Pregnant
Those who are trying to get pregnant will often ask themselves this question after no luck. “Why can’t I get pregnant?” This is the time when they are usually frustrated and don’t know what is going on. The best way to answer that question is by re-evaluating their situation.
Some of the things they should focus on is what they are doing to try and get pregnant. What have they not been doing that could have increased their chances of getting pregnant. So, instead of thinking “why can’t I get pregnant”, they should focus on what they should do to get pregnant or increase their chances of getting pregnant.
If you have not had any success at getting pregnant, you should look at how long you have been trying. If you have been trying for less than 6 months and you are at a young age, any age under 30 years, you shouldn’t get too worried. It takes the average fertile couple anywhere from 1-6 months to get pregnant.
If you have not gotten pregnant after 6 months, you could try to implement some of the things that can increase fertility. Start timing sex around ovulation. Ovulation is the time at which a woman is most fertile. She can track her ovulation with ovulation predictor kits, basal body temperature charting, and cervical mucus observation. When you know the time ovulation is occurring, you can focus on having sex around this time, preferably 3 times during the week of ovulation.
Another thing you can do is re-evaluate your health and your lifestyle. Are you eating properly, getting the proper amount of nutrients, exercising moderately, reducing stress, decreasing caffeine intake and making sure you are in good health by getting a check up at your doctors office? Smoking cigarettes and excessive alcohol consumption can also impact fertility. It is important to be healthy and cut off any bad habits when trying to get pregnant.
Of course there may be other reasons why you may ask “why can’t I get pregnant”. It may be more to it than lifestyle changes and your health. There could be a problem that is making it hard for you to conceive.
