Do You Think That You Can Gain Weight In The First 4 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I know the baby (embryo) isn’t that big and the mom’s tummy doesn’t usually show til ab 3 months, but do you think that certain women (because of hormones or anything) would make their belly get bigger or weight gain???
My first pregnancy I was 100lbs (not anorexic I am 4’11) my husband told me I looked like I was gaining weight. A week later I found out I was pregnant.

Early pregnancy causes LOTS of bloating! By 6 weeks I was wearing mostly elastic-waist pants!
But as far as actually “showing”, that would be pretty much impossible at 4 weeks since the uterus is behind your pubic bone until 10-12 weeks.
Also any weight you gain is likely bloating, as well, since your actual weight gain for the entire first trimester should be no more than 5 pounds, which would barely be noticable.
But I will say that it seems like the daddy has intuition sometimes! My partner convinced me to test again (I got a negative at 4 weeks, then apositive at 6 weeks) because he insisted that my breasts had grown!

you are short – i am short – no where for the baby / placenta and fuid to go but out…
just be careful about what you eat and drink lots of water…
make sure to be tested for diabetes etc.
    congrats.
